Financial Obligations of the Student
Students who receive services from the College for which a financial obligation is incurred (e.g., tuition, fees, loans, library/parking fines, etc.) are expected to exercise responsibility in meeting those obligations. Appropriate College staff are empowered to act in accordance with regularly adopted procedures; to carry out the intent of this policy, and, if necessary, to initiate legal action to ensure that collection matters are brought to a timely and satisfactory conclusion. A student’s failure to meet their financial obligations to the College may result in the College’s restricting admission to or registration with the College and withholding the conferring of degrees and issuance of grades and academic transcripts.
